”One of the greatest joys as a daughter is to hear my mom say that she finds Cedar Gardens to be like a "family" for her. She said that she enjoys getting to know the other residents and loves having good talks and laughing a lot with them. That is such a gift and a blessing to hear! As for me, I also see the place as a very loving, warm community-family atmosphere. The management and staff are super, and my mom feels safe and happy. There will always be challenges, ups and downs with ageing parents but it brings peace of heart to know that my mom is in a place where she experiences love, compassion and respect. ”My mom has been living in a Cedar Gardens home for several years. I had looked at a few other homes for my mom, but when i walked into Cedar Gardens home, i knew my mom would enjoy it. There was an adjustment period for her, and me, but the staff was in constant communication with me. We decided we would change mom to another Cedar Gardens home, where she is now! My mom is surrounded by her friends and staff who look after her with love and kindness. I travel quite a bit with my work, i go away with a heavy heart, but with confidence and a knowing that my mom is cared for. I am grateful for the staff who understand my mom (and me) and for the heartfelt caring for my mom. I love my mom very much, she is with people who feel the same. Thank you!
